Angel Food Cake is a traditional American Cake or Sweet – of unique flavour, similar to both a sponge and pavlova. It is easy to make, trouble free, producing a high, white, light sponge type cake, and this is probably the reason for the delightful name. A wide range of variations and fillings, even desserts and sweets, provides a great scope for an enterprising hostess.
